Portland, Oregon The Hammerskin Nation, a neo-Nazi skinhead organization, aims to attract hundreds of hardcore racists to the group's twentieth-anniversary celebration, to be held October 5- 7 of this year in the greater Portland area. A coalition of Northwest anti-racists has coordinated its own three days of community responses to the Hammerskin gathering. Read More
Starting September 26th, a group called "40 Days for Life" is planning to launch a round-the-clock protest at the downtown Olympia Planned Parenthood health center which is scheduled to last 40 days and nights.
At 11 pm on Saturday night Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) set up checkpoints around a Lynnwood Fred Meyer store. At these checkpoints ICE was stopping everyone and checking their papers. Beyond these checkpoints they were raiding the Fred Meyer. When it was all over, ICE had detained six latino men who are now being shipped away from their homes, families and loved ones. The checkpoints and the raids are just a small glimpse of not only what immigrants are having to deal with on a regular basis but what everyone in the US will have to deal with in the future.

At 11 PM, Sept 15th, ICE agents and the Lynnwood Police blocked off the roads near a Fred Meyer and proceeded to raid the store. They came out with 6 latino men who are now ready to be shipped away from their homes.

Shut Down Downtown Tacoma! We want to show the powers that be, that a homeland security detention center will not be tolerated in our communities and in our region. This will be in solidarity with the No Borders camp that will be happening the same week down south. We plan on sending a very visible, clear message by not allowing business as usual to happen on these days. 
Thanks to their eyes and ears in Portland and beyond, anti-fascists were able to release information about the location of a white supremacist gathering held on Saturday, October 6 in the greater Portland area, leading to the cancellation of its venue. White supremacists associated with the Hammerskin Nation, a neo-Nazi organization, had rented the Sherwood Elks Lodge (22770 SW Elwert Rd., Sherwood, OR) under false pretexts, for use in its twentieth-anniversary celebration, scheduled for October 5 - 7. Around three hours after receiving information about the true nature of the event being held on their premises, the Elks Club pulled the Saturday venue, denying use of their space to fascist organizers. Approximately 70 - 100 hardcore white supremacists were at the venue at the time of cancellation.
